Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions caused by unhealthy human activities have a significant impact on global climate change. The main greenhouse gases include CO2 , CH4 , N2O , H2O , and OCS, among which CO2 , CH4 , and N2O are considered major GHGs and have received widespread attention.
Soil greenhouse gas respiration is a crucial pathway in the global greenhouse gas cycle. The loss of CO2, CH4, and N2O from soil significantly exacerbates the increase in atmospheric CO2 , CH4 , and N2O concentrations , thus amplifying the greenhouse gas effect. Therefore, portable and accurate measurement of soil greenhouse gas fluxes is of paramount importance for greenhouse gas flux research.
The PS-3010 ultra-portable CH4 / CO2 soil respiration system is a portable measurement system that uses the gas chamber method to measure the flux emissions of CO2 and CH4 from soil . The system features control , measurement, storage, and data processing functions. The PS-3010 can read the concentration changes of CO2 , CH4 , and H2O in the respiration chamber measured by the analyzer in real time . Simultaneously, it combines monitoring data from sensors such as air temperature, atmospheric pressure, and soil temperature to calculate the CO2 and CH4 emission flux values. The acquired raw data and calculated flux results are stored on an SD card.
The SC-12M portable soil breathing chamber enables automated, repeatable measurements. Lightweight and easy to carry and operate in the field, the SC-12M features a unique design for more accurate results.
The PS-3010 enables wireless communication via a mobile app, allowing users to set various measurement parameters in real time and display the instrument's measurement results.
