To address the spatiotemporal variability of soil gas fluxes, LICA has developed the new SF-3500 multi-channel fully automated soil gas flux measurement system. The SF-3500 can be connected to various gas analyzers and gaseous stable isotope analyzers to measure the soil fluxes of multiple gases. It also allows for sequential switching and measurement of multiple flux chambers, with the concentration within each chamber automatically recovering to background values, enabling long-term, continuous monitoring of soil gas fluxes at multiple locations.
The SF-3500 can connect to multiple analyzers for simultaneous measurement of multi-parameter fluxes, reducing systematic errors in multi-system measurements. It features an LCD touchscreen and Android mobile app control and display, eliminating the need for computer setup and display. Remote control and data transmission capabilities simplify instrument maintenance, making it more suitable for long-term field measurements. Extensive testing has proven the SF-3500's superior accuracy and stability, making it ideal for long-term field use.
